Today is May 29, 2012, account value is about $1000

As I had analyzed since my last post in February, the market dropped to a low of 1295 ES. It has since then recovered. I am currently long. As one may see, I have very little money left. Its going to take a long time to recover my losses. Probably years, if ever. However I continue to study the market, charts, and behaviour of the masses on Wall Street. It is a lively, ever-changing, exciting world which never gets old. Money changes hands, wealth is distributed. I will post again some time. Know that I am currently long with QQQ calls. I dont have enough to trade futures anymore, not even 1 contract of NQ.

Today is February 15th, 2012. My account is a whopping $6288.27

It has been quite some time since Ive posted. The reason being is that I severely messed up my trading account. My full position loading strategy worked perfectly, but then backfired on me to a large degree. I had turned my starting value of 65K into 396K by the middle of August 2011. I transfered out profits, leaving only 200K in the account to trade with. This is when things went downhill. The market resiliently went upwards, and I kept maintaining my shorts. My 200K turned into 160K, to 120K. I transferred my profits back into the account to have more leverage, and this hurt me even more, as the market grinded higher and higher. I lost all of my trading account. It has been the most psychologically devastating experience, to see these profits disappear. Combine that with another personal event in my life which I dont wish to disclose, and it was a nightmare of a time. Physically and mentally draining. I lost a lot of weight at the time.

I treated the giant profit as just a number on the screen, hoping I could keep increasing. Things fall just as fast as they go up, and this held true for my profits.

It is now Feb 2012, the market has continued its grind higher. Ive transferred some extra leverage into my account. Currently my account value is a whopping $6288.27. Im holding about 15K worth of put options on the nasdaq. The QQQ's are at $63.45, NQs are at 2584.  I have not let down. I have not given up. I am confident that I can recover all of my profits in due time. Once I do, I will need to re-adjust my strategy so as not to expose myself to so much risk. This market is a bitch and she will kill you, make no mistake.

I will occasionally post my research and positions here. I will not be posting everyday, since I do not have the capital anymore to day trade futures contracts. I just need my put options to gain in value and increase my leverage.

I am confident that the market is going to take a plunge very soon. All indicators, oscillators and readings are at extremes, and it is due for a pullback. (ES is at 1352 by the way).

Today is May 13th, Account at $166,255

NQa dropped abut 20 points and I rode it all the way down. Took profits partially until I had no position. Currently I have no positions, covered all my shorts and took the profits. I may short again at end of day if NQs reach around 2388. Otherwise I will wait until Monday.

Total I made today was $26K and some change. One of my best days ever.

Today is May 12th, Account at $137,080

Massively short right now: 68 NQ contracts at 2402 avg. Current level is 2406.00.

Today is May 9th, account at $128,930

Currently SHORT 62 NQs at 2378. Currently its at 2388. I am looking for further downside this week.

Today is May 5th, account at $125,860

Currently short 49 NQ contracts (I added more earlier this morning). Avg 2377, current level is 2369.25

Also EUR/USD is falling off a cliff this morning:

If I had kept my 1 million worth of EUR/USD short from yesterady, I wouldve made about 20K. Unfortunately I sold it for a small profit. O well, there will be other opportunities.

Ended the day at $111,585

Rode long for a few points during the day. Now short 40 NQs at 2378. Currently level is 2386.

(would have been at $117,000 but lost out $5K on shorting too early)
